Michael Coomer

Leading RDC with decades of unparalleled executive experience across Asia-Pac and beyond.

Michael has over 35 years experience in business and IT holding executive roles. He served as Executive Vice-President for the Asia-Pacific and Japan region at EDS, and Group Executive for Business and Technology Solutions and Services at Westpac Banking Corporation. Michael was also Chief Information Officer of the National Australia Bank, leading all IT activities in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Britain and the US. Michael is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Paul’s research has focussed mainly on the incremental development and maintenance of knowledge-based systems while they are in use, an approach known as Ripple Down Rules (RDR), and his research has had significant industrial impact, with a number of companies having developed services based on RDR, including IBM. In particular, RDR are widely used in medical diagnostic laboratories. Dr Hendra’s experience spans across data architecture, data science and data engineering, managing and designing end-to-end data analytics solutions within an Agile continuous delivery DevOps framework. He has worked in leading organisations including Westpac Bank, Commonwealth Bank Australia, Veda, Bupa, HCF and Vodafone. During his tenure Tim held various roles including Global Head of Product Management; General Manager of the Global Credit and Fraud lifecycle lines of business during a period of sustained growth; North America’s analytics delivery including price and offer optimization; oversight of the FICO Advisory organization and direct selling into the Telco, Auto and Government sectors. Prior to FICO, Tim was a director at CC Pace focused on automated underwriting strategy and implementation for US mortgage lending, a manager at Accenture delivering on large scale financial services implementations in the US, and an officer in the United States Marine Corps. Tim is a frequent speaker and writer on a wide range of industry topics with a keen interest in applied analytics and customer experience. He resides north of Chicago with his wife and daughter.
